FRANKENSTEIN - Magazine - Sick - No. 25 - Vol. 4, No. 3 - December, 1963.

And here's another rad Sick magazine cover (not mine unfortunately) rendered by Jack Davis:

I'll bet you could do a whole book on Davis' Frankenstein art.

I'd like to see a book just on his monsters art.

Interesting with respect to books devoted to the artwork of Jack Davis. Circa 2000 I got a phone call from Hank Harrison who'd seen the small display ads I'd been running in the Comics Buyer's Guide expressing my interest in acquiring high grade copies of the Adventures of the Fly.

He was in the process of writing a book on Jack Davis and wanted to confirm that Jack Davis' artwork appeared in Adventures of the Fly 3 from 1959:

(Not mine.)

And Davis did indeed pencil the lead six page story entitled "The Overblown Marshal of Spire City":

The book Harrison wrote hit the stands a year or so later:

I also have this book:

The most extensive book devoted to Jack Davis and his artwork though may be this one from 2012:

Not Henry, or Phyllis. The rolled-up papers/plans for the other woman must be a clue, but I don't know for what.

After engaging in some further consultation, I'm guessing that the cowboy is probably James Coburn.

But I'm sticking with Phyllis:
