Thanks everyone who prayed for my dad. He's home now. They did an mri and blood work and xrays and can't find anything wrong. He feels much better and the dizziness is gone. I appreciate it!

One last photo for now. I have to believe my mom posed us for this one. We are sitting there contemplating the Nativity set! My folks tried to instill in us the true meaning for Christmas, and working retail it gets harder to hold onto in the midst of the madness.

CreepysFan

Glad to hear your Dad is doing alright Mike, I'll continue to pray that he remains in good shape.

Here is a pic of me being packed up for shipping, apparently lured in place by a chocolate bar

Here is the infamous Pufnstuf outfit. (yellow shirt / brown pants)

Great pics!!! I was a big HR Pufnstuf fan. I still have a hand puppet somewhere. I even went and saw his movie. Had the soundtrack album, too.

Man, this is my new favorite place to be on the internet ( it used to be the Disney site)!  Illoman- I am so glad your Dad is on the mend  :)  They have to scare us every once and awhile to get back at us for all the worry we put them through. My Dad is only 19 years older than me, but he had an irregular heartbeat last year and freaked me out royally!  He's also Ok now.  Anyway, I would like to thank your Dad if he was the primary photographer in your family. These photos have made me smile alot!  CreepysFan-  Your pictures are also out of this world cute! I love the little guy leaning casually against the pillar, standing next to you! So cool! And the suitcase photo is brilliant!! If only my kids weren't 29 years old, I'd pose them in a suitcase!  It's so much cuter than babies in flowerpots!  Everyone is so photogenic!   I love it!!!!

The guy standing against the pillar is my younger brother.  Love the picture of you two with the Brontosaurus, dinosaurs were my first love in life.

Mike, I can't tell you how happy I am y0our dad is OK. Sometimes the fluids in the inner ear get out of wack and that is all it takes to have a touch of vertigo. Your pics continue to bring a smile to my face!!

Bill, I had a beagle as a kid too. No better dog in the world! What was his name?? Char, AWESOME Bronto pic!! Where is the Prehistoric Forest??

MAN I'm glad I started this thread! ;D ;D

I'm glad you did as well. Unfortunately my parents did not take a ton of photos and what existed was needs to be found if not already lost.

Me too buddy. Most of our stuff was necessarily left behind when we moved to Fla. Maybe it's because we don't really HAVE these momentos of our own youth that we're so thrilled with seeing the terrific pics others post?

I'm with Charlotte, this is my favorite new thread. Creepysfan, that pic of you and your brother with your dog is so cute. I love your brother's pose too; you guys look like you could be catalog models! And the brontosaurus pic is just awesome Charlotte!

I'm hesitant to post this pic, as the quality is terrible. It's a scan from a very faded black and white. It's me and my older brother, and he has a super-cool Batman shirt on. He is also messing around with one of those old 'helicopter on a string' toys - I remember that one because I got hit in the head with it more than once!

That's a cool pic Karen..........LOVE that Batman shirt. Those graphics are incredible. Man, Batman was on SUCH a roll for a couple of years. Awesome theme song, the greatest TV car in history, and products like that shirt that just OOOOOZE cool.

And I remember those 'copters too!! I used to beat the crap out of mine, running it into walls and everything else. Needless to say, mine wasn't long for the world.

It doesn't have to be a perfect pic to be a great addition to the thread!!

Moonshadow- you guys look like such sweet little kids  :)  It must have been cool having an older brother to look up to ( even when he tortured you with his toys) I love your photo! The more faded the better, as far as I'm concerned. They look so genuine and nostalgic with a little fading. I've always been the oldest in my family. Everyone is younger than me except for my dad- thankfully!!! Haha- although he claims he's 55 and I'm 48........ I really like your haircut too! Mine was always super short when I was young because I kepy getting stuff stuck in it- gum, road tar, glue, and once I put on a pith helmet that was in an old shed and ended up with hundreds of spider eggs in it.  Illoman- You win the photo contest!  You boys were so sweet to stand there and allow your pictures to be taken!  My kids were always making creepy faces or moving around! Most of their pictures are weird blurs!  Seriously, I would sit in your homes for hours and marvel at all your photos- DON'T ever let me know where you live! So I guess I should say- post more photos or I'll come over to see them!  :)    This is the greatest topic- SCATTER- You are awesome!
