Post that pic Bill!! This thread isn't exclusively for monster costume photos.  It's for pics of us back in the day ........a chance to peek into the past of our brethren (and sistren) and relive the our own Glory Days in the process !! That outfit would definitely spark some funny stories and fond remembrances since many of us were Scouts as well. Any and all photos from our youths are welcomed.

Right you are, Scatter!  This is simply a photo-archive.... not a Halloween thread, specifically.

I would love to see some pictures of UMA members in their Boy Scout or Girl Scout uniforms! There have been so many changes in the uniforms in the last 50 years, I would imagine that some of the pins and badges are collectibles. Anyway, get out the scanners- I'm sure a lot of the photos are Polaroids!  :)

Sergeant Charp13!  Are you implying that we are old? Perhaps you believe we use to turn the crank on the family Model T?  That we go to bed early cause if we didn't we'd fall asleep wherever our worn bones reclined? That our once youthful hair has fallen out and our teeth have rotted out of our face!?  Opps.....past my bed-time, gotta go.......no need to wax the bald head tonight.....no need to brush either, still trying to gum that chicken leg......but I'll tell you one thing.....can still turn the crank......Ha!     Bud

No bigbud, I am not.  But I would hope there are some others here that were scouts in the 60s like myself.  :)  I still have my Brownie beanie and my Girl Scout sash from those glorious days!

Dr.Teufel Geist

Since she wont admit it, I will......... you all is older than dirt..  :P

great pics, wish I could show some, too bad things dont work right on my end...  :'(

Only thing I remember getting out of the Scouts was some of the worse cases of chigger bites known to man (or boy)! And those nights in a canvas tent  inside a sleeping bag.......waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning dripping of sweat and mosquitos buzzing constantly........

.......yeah those were good times. Camping out with good friends.   As soon as I can find the picture i'll post it.

I, too, have scouting pics somewhere from the 70s.  Gotta find 'em, them scan 'em.

Visited my dad today, and he found our old family photograph albums!! I haven't seen these for years. Here's me and my older brother Halloween 1963:

I'm the clown on the left! We *adored* Hanna-Barbera characters back then.

Here we are three years later, 1966 with my older and younger brother. I'm the Pirate:

Here's some Christmas pics from 1964-5 I'm guessing. I still have the Frosty that sits in the window, but he doesn't work any more.

Here's us enjoying our stuff!! I *loved* that Beany doll! My older brother got Cecil the Sea Serpent that year as well. God bless Bob Clampett!!

The look on my brother's face to the right sums up how we felt at Christmastime!!

Scatter, I do too!! Touche Turtle, Yogi Bear, the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Huckleberry Hound, Magilla Gorilla, etc were all an important part of my growing up!!

Mike, those pics are outstanding!! Man, that brings back memories!! Hey, that TV in the background looks a lot like the old B&W my parents put in the playroom when I was a little kid. It was a HotPoint. Monster movies out of New York never looked better to me than on that little TV set!!

George, it could very well be. I really don't remember. I found a photo of me with one of my favorite toys from that era: a set of Yogi bear Bowling pins! Simple plastic Yogi's that you set up and bowled over.
