Very cool! A rare find!  :)  I wonder what those sold for? Maybe a nickel?

I saw one for sale, once, but that's as close as I ever got to one. All I have are a couple of the '50s movie aliens.

Mutated Skeleton

Another recent find from the Hoosier Collecticon 4 from a few weekends ago. I picked up the top left brown monster head and the two other unique heads. I should have just bought all of them.

I stumbled onto this image last week showing those heads used finger puppets. Guessing mine were meant as necklace trinkets or something like that with the little rings attached to the top of them.

Mutated Skeleton

This came in the mail today. No date but it's likely mid to late eighties. The top part is a hard rubber that can be pulled easily off to reveal a crude battery pack with wiring connecting to the back of the eyes. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work but I assume the eyes are supposed to light up red. I'll probably retrofit another device to light up the eyes another way later.

Also, you might recognize this as a complete rip off of a toy called "Bloodstone" from an Ideal Toyline "Rocks Bugs and Things" from 1985.

Hoosier Collecticon is a really solid vintage toy show that takes place in Greenfield Indiana, very close to Indianapolis. The following three pics includes my entire haul from the show, with some newer stuff sprinkled in there found elsewhere that day.

There's a YouTube video that shows a preview of each of the two buildings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeJfeCCzWDU. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSaDJb7WuMA. Should give you an idea of the insane variety and quality of the stuff on display there.

edit - I just realized that last pic is a literal interpretation of the name of this site, ha.

Found a 14 inch tall bootleg vintage orange Godzilla that I'd been after for awhile. Love this thing.
