From 1960:

The Comics Code Authority didn't allow for the drawing of very good monsters back in those days.

Okay. But what or from precisely where is that Mr. Hyde?

Where are you seeing a Mr. Hyde?

Well if that's not Mr. Hyde in John Pertwee's post, then I'm even more fully in the dark about the figure's provenance.

I don't remember Mr. H having bat wings.

Hmmmm. Of course I haven't seen the movie but I take it that the lead character in London After Midnight is supposed to be a vampire. From Basil Gogos' book cover I thought he was Mr. Hyde:

Oh well. I never said I know much about movies.

That's Professor Burke been waiting for months to have that finally be released.

"Waiting for months"? The Basil Gogos book was published eighteen years ago.

I think he's talking about the NECA toy.

Received my eBay purchases today for old Halloween items.

Candy Toppers with Flicker Eyes (Devil Heads are 2" tall & Skulls are 2 1/2" tall):

Devil Head Hanger with Flicker Eye (3 1/4" tall):

3 Wear-A-Weirdo Skull Necklaces with Rolling Eyes (1 1/4" tall):

The Devil Head Hanger is really nice. These are usually damaged in some way. I've been chasing a nice one with the plastic horn inserts for a while. I'm pretty sure this was also a candy topper like the smaller ones shown above but I've never seen one with the candy tube attached.

The Skull Necklaces are different from the other 3 Wear-A-Weirdo Necklaces in that they have the rolling eyes and don't have a flat back like the others. I wonder if they were made by a separate company. Anyway, I have all four now with the other 3 in the packaging.

If anyone has any further info about any of these items, it would be greatly appreciated.

Scared up a little info on the Wear-A-Weirdo Skull. Here's a pic of one on eBay:

It's flat on the back like the other 3 Wear-A-Weirdo Necklaces so the ones I bought shown in the previous post are different. Maybe the ones shown in the previous post are vending prizes. Anyway, they have the plastic necklace cords attached. Any further info appreciated.

Received a couple more Blow Mold Devils in the mail today.

Tico Toys Blow Mold Devil Lantern (1960s):

Blow Mold Devil Spook Stick (1960s, Unknown Manufacturer):

The Lantern still has the battery/bulb housing that fits down into it from the top (the black plastic piece is visible).

The Spook Stick is big and heavy (28" tall, 8" head). The seller listed it as being from a company called "Creative Merchandising". I found it on the Blow-Molded website listed as "Unknown Manufacturer". Anybody know anything about the piece or this "Creative Merchandising" company?
