I was pleasantly surprised by VCI's "King of the Zombies" BD! Compared to this one, my old Alpha Videos disc looks like it was torn to pieces by wild animals.

I've never seen the Roan disc, which was supposed to be the best one, when it came out. I can't believe it's as good as this Blu-ray, though.

Anyone else have this BD and what did you think. I'll check this thread to see if anyone commented.

I'm very pleased with it too. I had the Alpha dvd first and there were many splices resulting in chopped dialogue. I couldn't find the Roan version, but I bought a 50 movie Treeline set which had a great print. It probably was a dupe of the Roan disk. But I agree, this new Blu-ray is the best yet.

I got it when it first came out, thought it wasa vast improvement over the PD and Alpha releases..The Roan disc doesnt look any better than this for sure

I really like the feel of Ghost Story.

Veteran actors playing old friends, sitting around spinning stories in a spooky setting.

Picked up the, so called, best release of "Killers from Space". Glad I did, 'cause it is!  :)

It's a DVD-R. Great image and sound. OAR 1.85:1. No company name, or any other info (except movie related) anywhere on/in the package.

This is the cover to look for.

I remember those '60s WWII shows. "The Rat Patrol" and "Combat" and "The Lieutenant".

I like Rat Patrol and Combat! I'm not familiar with The Lieutenant.

That one wasn't WWII, though. It was contemporary, non-combat, army base stories. Created by Gene Roddenberry.

It's great to get the content of all six Something Weird Video VHS tapes in this BD set. I bought it from Vinegar Syndrome during a recent sale for $20 plus shipping ($6 USPS in a sturdy box). Highly recommended for around 7 hours of fun drive-in "intermission" ads. The "mixtape" and accompanying commentary...well, let's just say the guys who put it together are far more impressed with it than I am. The original SWV material is the real reason to get it. The other is just a bonus to take or leave.

UNKNOWN WORLD finally arrived, and I watched it last night. Looks fantastic! Throw away your old PD copy. Some nice extras, too. There's one on Victor Kilian and one on the director. Best is the one on Block and Rabin and their FX career(s).
