It's time for my monthly rant about the only things I find I hate about NECA.

1. Make your product more widely available to be found, with the return of actual "in store by" dates

2.For the love of Pete (or Mike, or All things Holy)...STOP THOSE WRETCHED FLIMSY HANGER TAGS. No store I visit that actually carries NECA products uses the tags. They sit them on a shelf on rows. The hanger tag always gets bent to hades.

NECA's instagram posted a Holiday Drop Schedule for 11/20, 11/22, 11/25 and 11/29. It says to "mark your calendar and check back to see what surprises we have in store!" Not sure if they'll be announcing new things, putting things up for pre-order/order, or a bit of everything.

Wouldn't be surprised if the GITD Bride of Frankenstein is one of them. Hoping they finally at least reveal the Dracula figure from their TMNT crossover line.

Someone on Reddit posted this video from an interview at SDCC. Apparently the line is continuing, and the person talking said they hoped to have new monsters out "later this year and into next year" (go to the 3:00 minute mark).

Believe it or not, but, both my Walmart AND Target use the hanger tags on them.

Every Target I go to, they are lined up in rows on a shelf. Wal mart might be a different story. It's rare I see anything at my Wallyworld except TMNT though,lol.

I've seen NECA products at various Walmarts and Target store.  Every Walmart I've seen have some on hangers.  The ones not on hangers are piled up on the bottom shelf under the hangers...because the hanger tags have broken or are torn off.  The ones on the hangers are hanging by ripped hanger tags - possibly torn by people pulling them off the hangers to look at the products.  Target stores have them sitting on shelves.  The hanger tags are usually bent.

As someone who barely ever sets foot in a store I like being able to get them from Neca themselves.  They tend to ship faster than other online retailers.   I agree, they should increase availability but if I'm being honest I've never missed out on something I wanted-- unless I waited to buy it.

I wouldn't buy NECA figures thru Walmart or Target...people beat the heck out of the boxes there.  I've gotten them directly thru NECA and BBTS.  Even getting them there sometimes the box corners are a little banged up (not noticeable until you really look for damage), and 1/2 the time the hang tags are bent and creased.  It's the nature of the beast.

STILL waiting for the Vincent Price figure.  Hope to get it by Christmas at the latest as it's going to be a birthday gift for my daughter (mid December) and if it comes late I can give it as a Christmas gift.

I would never step foot in a store and only order online for the rest of my NECA collecting experience if they removed the hanger tags. Unless I can nab an item in person, they always arrive bent to hades. It ruins the "keep in box" duplicate if the box is a ragged mess.

OK, Imma help my fellow UMA soldiers out here. I went to Meijer's for some Vanilla Coca Cola, because my Wal Mart was out. I decided to take a run thru the store. Sure enough, they had NECA Vincent Price back in the electronics section of the store. Got a nice minty box. If you have Meijer's in your area (or outside of the USA?): give them a look. Here's the barcode in case they haven't unloaded them. Meijer's is definitely the "first to store" on this one. Happy Haunted Hunting!

Cool that the Vincent Price figure is starting to hit stores.  I've read on this site that some NECA figures hit smaller stores before the bigger ones (like Walmart & Target) and online retailers (like BBTS where I ordered from).

So HOPEFULLY it will be hitting all the other stores soon...at least in time for Christmas.  fingers crossed.
