We had a major failure, yesterday. It's all a bunch of technical stuff and it's being worked on. We have the message board back, but not much else. All the settings got wiped, which is why everything looks like crap. Hang in there!

Yea not liking the new look interface

The new interface is only temporary. We will be Back in Black by this evening. As Mike noted, we had a major meltdown yesterday. But you can't keep a good monster down for long. We shall rebuild this castle the way it was while adding new touches along the way. Remain patient.

All I know is that it's not there now. If it's gone forever, there's no way I'd be interested in trying to duplicate it.

And what about the "Like" option?

Was this all a result of some computer glitch beyond anyone's control? Or were the powers that be trying to implement some changes behind the scenes with the typical unforeseen consequences cropping up?

I'm currently working on restoring the Media Section as I type this. There's a very high probability of it returning. I confirmed this morning that all the pics are still safe in the database. Just need to bring back the functionality part of it. And I need to do so carefully as to not mess another thing up! lol

The Like option may not be compatible with the current software version. I'm looking into other options regarding this.

The genesis for the nuclear technical meltdown here was basically not keeping current with all the nuts and bolts of the forum. There were catastrophic glitches or conflicts between the software and all the mods (customization modules) that we use here. The good news is this forum is now as up to date with the software. The bad news is we lost some our interior design in the process. But I will put it all back together!

At least I was able to log in again after over 2 years of being blocked by some sort of Error after I changed my email address. I guess this whole shake-up straightened out the Error. Hopefully the site goes back to the previous design in black. This gray look isn't so great imo.
