I really love that faux marble mini bust of Barnabas.

What a collection!

Thanks! That comes from John Dennett's Moondevil Studio! He's incredible. I also have a Vincent Price Roderick Usher and Fredric March Mr. Hyde by him.

It's a custom from Haunt Kraft (created by my friend Eric Von Gorr). I also have one of his zombie figures in the zombie section.

Thank you so much for the info Penny. It looks like Haunt Kraft is out of business, but i stumbled upon a Flickr tribute
page to Eric's stuff. Really cool!!! Here's a link if anyone is interested:

Here are some pics of my Monster Room, taken a couple of months ago.

So much cool stuff, Penny!!! But my eyes are transfixed on the AHI monster collection!  :) :) :)
When times are dark, don't consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

THanks!
I love, love, love the AHIs! I lucked out in finding a Creature with decent paint, although there is a little screw in one of his ankles that was apparently used to re-attach his foot. Doesn't bother me one bit though. I think they all look great standing together.

What vintage are the Cody Foster & Co. monster candy buckets?

And do you see the Modify button at the upper right of your post now?

???

Thanks so much!  I think I got them about 3 years ago on Zulily but I've seen them on occasion on Mercari and a few other websites.  There is actually a Dracula one as well as some smaller sizes I believe.  I just loved the vintage mask look.

Thanks for the help on the modify link, found it tonight on the web version which was great.  I don't plan to modify often but if I catch my own grammar mistake I like to be able to go back and fix it LOL.

Yeah, those are cool! Seems like it would be painful to carry them, with those wire handles.

Exactly, not to mention the weight of the candy would probably cause the handle to tear the paper mache head.  I've tried to think about what I could put inside them that would complement and not detract from their design and I never came up with anything so they sit empty on top of my candle holders.

Maybe one of those color changing LED light pucks would look cool if the room was a little dark so they could glow from the top of their heads?

What kind of bags do you use then when you go trick or treating on the big Eve?

Lol, at this stage in life I just pass the candy out, but back in the day I remember some pretty heavy pillowcases, monster bags, and plastic pails. 🍭 🍬 🎃

Most of us here on UMA haven't reached that stage of our lives. I certainly haven't. Here are some pictures of a small part of a recent Halloween haul of mine:

Unfortunately The MAN insists that I share my loot with the rest of my posse. Cowboy (the white one) can be particularly greedy.
