Oh man, a NECA Dark Shadows line would be incredible. At the very least, if we could get Barnabas, Quinten and Angelique, I'd be ecstatic. Imagine the swappable heads and accessories for Barnabas and Quinten alone!

It's a custom from Haunt Kraft (created by my friend Eric Von Gorr). I also have one of his zombie figures in the zombie section.
Here are a couple of closeups of his figure of the legendary horror hostess, Tarantula Ghoul:

Hi Hepcat,

Wow, blast from the past! Thanks!
Actually, about 65-70% of my collection was only acquired within the last couple of years.
I've always had a smallish monster collection, but decided to really focus on expanding it in recent years.

Indeed! What you peck onto this interweb thingy is pretty well permanent.

I've had the 8" Sideshow figures, a couple of the 12" ones, the artwork prints, posters, record albums, magazines, a lot of the Dark Shadows stuff, and random vintage and modern items for many years. I had a book shelf and a display case with most of the items in them. I also aready had lots of books and DVDs and have kind of a library with all of that in it.

The rest, I gradually got from eBay (Aurora models, Anchor-Hocking glasses, AHI and 70's Mego figures, Remco figures, many of the 12" Sideshow figures, Lincoln-International mummy, etc.) Others, I got from collectibles stores, Facebook, and sometimes cons. The modern items like the NECA figures, Super7 figures, and current Mego figures, I got from places like Big Bad Toy Store. And I got the big Hammer statues directly from Sideshow.
I had to move out of Salem at the time, and was kind of down in the dumps as I really liked it there. Watching my friend Ray's videos (Raymond Castile's Basement of Horror and longtime UMA member) really cheered me up at the time and inspired me to focus on expanding my monster collection. I started selling off many of my non-monster collectibles to help pay for all of the vintage monster stuff, so it was kind of like a trade. Plus, not paying rent in Salem anymore helped a lot.

I don't have much room left in there, so I had to put on the brakes a bit. It's been fun though. The 'Dark Shadows Wing' of the Monster Room serves as a nice backdrop for the video version of my DS podcast.
