That wouldn't be necessary if you would stop visiting all those "other" sites.

It's the other places that are are weakening your eyesight.  (And real werewolves don't just have hair on their palms.)

I'm starting to feel like Vincent Price in "Last Man on Earth". As a kid, I always thought that would be a cool thing. Now, I'm starting to have doubts.

HA!  I just posted something similar over at the COVID-19 thread.

(You said it more succinctly.)

I was going to move into the local county library. It looks like a castle!  :)

Looking at the businesses near me, looks like a Ghost Town.

I said the same with the closing of Blockbuster.  I was wrong.  In fact, I still owe Blockbuster $10,125.25 for late fees and not rewinding my VHS copy of Jingle All The Way.  It turned out to be a net positive for me!

Well, Amoeba is only closed due to Coronavirus. I just happened to have plans to go there this week. As for Blockbuster, your debt is still pending, scofflaw.

What, you couldn't put it in the Night Drop?

Too bad you didn't know ahead of time.  You could have run off with 6 or 8 more worn VHS timeless classics.

It is usually SO quiet here on weekends.  I've always thought it was because members had better things to do on their days off than sit around and talk to strangers on the Internet.  Either that, or they usually did most of their posting during stolen time on their work computers, when the bosses weren't watching.

I've been thinking it would be interesting to see if there is an uptick in activity here now that most of us are forced to stay home.  No more distracting weekend camping/fishing trips or visits to theme parks with the kids.

They're probably out looking for water and toilet paper. I have a hard time understanding why. You only need so much toilet paper. It's become like the Beanie Babies craze. Those are worth so little, they're cheaper to use than toilet paper. As for water...doesn't anybody have sinks with taps? Filtered tap water is more regulated than the store bought kind (unless you live in Flint, Michigan).

I was out of meat, so I went to get some. Every store I went to was completely out of hamburger and nearly out of chicken. They had plenty of steaks and other expensive cuts. The very last store had some HB, so I bought a bunch.

Once you've run out of SPAM, what do you need all the toilet paper for?  (Yes, I know that's grammatically incorrect.  But you gotta remember whom I'm speaking at.)
