I don't understand Target limiting purchase options due to someone's Zip Code?! Things ship all over the world these days. At worst it should just take a couple of extra days to ship the item, not a refusal to sell. They need to seriously examine the way they do business.

The last Mego Frank I bought was #9,400 or other. Maybe they're on the verge of selling out of these things.

Makes no sense when I got my Dracula it was shipped from Pennsylvania  I'm in SoCal so what does zip code have to do with it?
Also the packaging looked as if is had been hanging in a store cuz of the shape of the peg hole, didn't look as if it came from a warehouse.

aura of foreboding

Just got back from Target. They had more Megos, but no monsters. The only decent one they had was the Gorn. Barnes and Noble did have a great Frankenstein tribute magazine. It was from Life and even better than the Parade one.

Here's a look at the magazine:

Life Magazine - 200 Years of Frankenstein

Nice, thick magazine.  It retails for $13.95.

Thanks for the heads up.
What is the Parade one?

So who is gonna customize some neck bolts? If I can ever find this guy, I've been curious how to do it.

I thought about just trimming some metal rods down and shoving them through the neck.

Small nails (brad or finishing). Hair dryer to soften the neck and shove them in.

For me the lack of neck bolts gives Army Boots Frankie that extra level of cheeziness and marks him as a Uni skirting bootleg...albeit sold by a major retailer who's ineptitude matches the figure. I ain't monkeyin' with mine.

I'm not big on modifying.

I like the idea of collecting a wide range of other people's artistic choices - even the crazy color choices.  Some of the rodeo clown color schemes on Mexican carnival chalk ware are a lot of fun.

What would be the point of painting everything to be some identical ideal?  Just a whole lot of the same ol' thing.

Got no problem with buying two of something and experimenting with one.  Especially if one can be modified into another figure altogether.

With ya, man.

We have a plethora of great Frank figures already. I'll leave this wonderfully crappy little gem as is.

This is my first Mego-sized Frank, thus I'd like to figure out bolts. Think I've got a easy solution that'll hold together perfectly and will require no painting or anything.

Just stopped by Target for Halloween candy. Checked the Megos....the usual suspects  ( Cliff, lots of Bewitched, the Gorn, etc).
