The movie I watched before "Favor" was:

Soldier, 1988 - Kurt Russell plays a state raised and trained soldier who is made obsolete by the new genetically-enhanced model.

I really like this movie.  Russell does a great job performing his role with minimal facial gestures and his eyes.  The violence is over the top and comic-booky, but I think it was worthy of a well-crafted sequel.

I like that one, too! Very well written by David Peoples (Blade Runner, Twelve Monkeys, etc.)

Me too! "A Simple Plan" is another good one.
I loved "A Simple Plan"! Billy Bob was great (as was the entire cast).Of course, "Fargo" is one of the all-time classics in the snow-bound thriller genre ( as well as the recent "Wind River").

I have to see "Wind River".  Amazon has 454 reviews with 74% 5-star ratings.  It's pretty hard to get 74% agreement on anything in this country.

Yeah, FARGO is another great "How did things go so terribly wrong?" movie!

Yeah, FARGO is another great "How did things go so terribly wrong?" movie!
The scene where William H. Macy frantically scrapes the ice off his car, is how I feel every waking moment of my life.

Leatherface, because chainsaws and Christmas are all about family.  Nonsensical origin story, not as bad as The Next Generation but not really all that great either; leaves more questions than it gives answers.
