And keeping with our earlier King Kong post, we forgot to post this great Fay Wray signed photo!

Certain items will begin closing today starting at 12 Noon (Eastern Time). Don't miss out on our monster madness!

Since today marks the 85th Anniversary of the release of Universal's Dracula, starring the great Bela Lugosi, we thought we'd share our first poster of monster-related items in out upcoming March auction (online February 23rd).

This 1928 theater window card was for a Baltimore, MD theater production of Hamilton Deane's dramatic treatment of Bram Stoker's classic story.

Don't worry, there's more to come!

Mike Scott

Nice poster!

Anybody know what the "A Golden Poster" mark at the bottom means? Printer's name, I suppose? I never heard of them.

Yeah, that's the name of the poster printer. Probably a local printer.

Maybe he's using ImageShack for some of his pics. None of my older pics show on UMA thanks to ImageShack hosting problems. Good thing I switched to Photobucket fairly early on.

I suspect he's just linking to the Hakes' site and Hakes takes down pictures a few weeks after the auction ends. The point I'm not so subtly making is that if he's going to advertise his auctions here he should show enough consideration to our board's membership to post images that stay up for good. He should at least try not to leave the impression that he cares only for this board as a potential end market.

Sorry guys, our website is currently being overhauled, which is why some of the picture links aren't working. Hopefully we'll have the pictures back up soon as we get the new website back in business! For the time being let us apologize with another item that will be featured in our upcoming March auction (online February 23rd).

An original, linen-mounted Japanese poster for King Kong vs. Godzilla!

Mord

Great Dracula poster! Keep 'em coming, Hakes.

You are correct, good sir. I just took that opportunity to clumsily insert a petty dig at ImageShack for their incompetence regarding my photo-hosting.  ;D

Remember Creepy Crawlers? Well, we will be offering a boxed Thingmaker kit in our upcoming March auction (online February 23rd). Check it out!

Thumbs up.
