It's Christmas Day! It's finally here! And so are the marathons of A Christmas Story with Ralphie trying to find any angle to obtain a Red Ryder BB gun. I was thinking about what toy gun I would have gone to such lengths to have under the tree for Christmas. I'm thinking it might have been this.....the Nichols Fury 500. This baby looks like a Thompson machine gun with all sorts of space motifs all over it....to include the super cool front sight in the shape of a space ship! Nichols stepped away from their usual "cowboy" brand of toy gun when they developed the Fury 500. When the first prototypes came out it was found to be too heavy. The solution was to cast one side of the Fury in metal and the other in plastic. Problem solved! The Fury 500's ammo drum holds a roll of 500 caps and fires them rapidly by way of it's battery operated feed mechanism. A super cool toy gun! One I would have been thrilled to find under the Christmas tree! Ralphie, you can keep with the cowboy stuff...ha!

How did you get yours then if not under the Xmas tree?

Happy holidays to you too Mord! And Hep...and Flower....and several others. I was wondering how many took time to look, so I wrote down the # of views when I posted pics of the Fury 500...so far 239! Wow...the UMA is alive and well for sure!

Here's a cool Marx gun set seldom seen. Marx wimped-out with the graphics as the soldier looks very American and the gun set is definitely so you can play a German. I can't explain the silencer...maybe to sneak up and fire quietly on some tall monster. But there aren't any German monsters...are there? Ha!
