Note the one zombie who is staring at the nude.  They probably had to throw him off set.  "Lou!!!  For the 100th time-----you are a mindless ZOMBIE.  You're not YOU at the Satellite Lounge on Saturday night!!!"

He definitely appears to be leering.  >:D

Sorry about hijacking the thread with all this Quigleyness.  ;D

Not at all!!!  Threads go where they go.  I love the side bars.  It encourages participation.  I think the conversation is great. 8)

He's definitely not focused on his character.  He looks like the actor Joseph Maher. :D

Thanks, Sean.  :)

I think some threads need to stay on a narrow path---like the ones where people are showing their art or creations.  All we're doing here is parsing the minutia about some of our favorite films that we're watching this season.  To ME, it never gets old.  And everybody is their own kind of witty/ funny.  And I really enjoy the back and forth.  But I appreciate the thought.  It was considerate of you----but I say keep going!!

October 1st:  Son of Frankenstein (1939)
October 2nd:  The Devil Bat (1940)
October 3rd:  Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
October 4th:  Night Monster (1942)
October 5th:  Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman (1943)
October 6th:  Night of the Living Dead (1968)
October 7th:  The Birds (1963)

Ok. That's 2 days of no Bela.  I have the shakes.  Well, I've seen this film plenty... and always appreciated the mystery behind the birds' behavior.  But---and I cannot believe I never thought this before---it's no mystery WHY the birds were so maniacal and aggressive:  it was that skull-splitting, horrid SONG the kids were signing at school!!!!  Holy jeepers!! I never paid attention to it before, but GOOD GOD that song is so freaking torturous!!  And it goes on and one and on.....  I was begging the children in the magic window to stop.  But they didn't.  Not for a looong time.  Mitch's mother deserved what Harry Cooper got in NOTLD from Ben----a 1/2 dozen punches to the face and a slug in the belly.  At least Doreen Lang's character got slapped in the mouth.  Still a true classic.

Great lineup. Good variety.

Love High Tension (2003).

It had me fooled for awhile, which was really fun after seeing so much of this stuff.
