Let's not forget this classic. I had this as a kid, but lost it somewhere along the way. Ron Howard lends his voice. You can listen to the album here:

The Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion - Part 1

Wow! I never knew about that one. My Haunted Mansion was narrated by Robie Lester by herself without Howard. It was the "read along and turn the page at the beep" version. I was too old for it when I asked for it for Christmas, but didn't care. It was a haunted house and it had ghosts in it.

I fell in love with the internal artwork on Christmas morning 1970. Hopefully I got a drool bucket as a stocking stuffer.

For every page and the best quality audio I could find:

I think that I need this ...

I have this on vinyl- great cover. The story involves Super Snooper and Blabber Mouse going to a party where there's a bunch of monsters. It has voices by June Foray and Paul Frees and like the other Hanna Barbera records
it has a couple of songs on it. The vocals on the song are by Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night.

And here's some more. This is just what was in the first box I could get to. I have more packed away...

Thanks everybody. Some of those records I've had since I was a kid, like the Addams Family, Dracula's Greatest Hits, and The Monster Album. I used to listen to them all the time back then, and still listen to them every once in a while now. I have more monster, and Halloween records packed away, if I dig them out I'll post some more pics.

Here is a classic that many of us had back in the day, and have on our shelves currently. Fun stuff.

Picked this up today!  Love the artwork on this album!

My friend Rob Kelly and I discussed the Power Records album on the PR podcast, a long with the actual audio. If you've never heard it, it's a surprisingly adult story, but then Power Records wasn't really known for "sanitizing" their material much!
