Thanks HH for the Disney one. As a kid I was in love with the album art. That lonely orange light in the tower just flooded my imagination.

This was my favorite as a kid and even now from memory can still pass the "arm hair stands up" test from 11:00 to the end where the goblins laugh and the witches cackle and scream. If you listen carefully, you can hear one of the witches say "fly with me!" You betcha babe!
And for a good laugh is the SFX track of "Scared Parents". Maybe Johnny was playing with a too-hot Thingmaker Creepy Crawlers Dangerous Toy...

I had the album cover printed on a t-shirt thru Walmarts photo center and wore it to Disney World/Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last September; the only person who noticed it was the actor playing Jack Skellington but he had no idea of its Disney connection.

You're welcome, 60sThru80s.

I had the orange cover version when I was a young'un, but in the last few years I've picked up the others off evilBay. We used to have a blast with these records around Halloween (and really all year 'round since I was a Monsterbrat ).

There are 2 versions of that album, and I'm glad that I had the "white album" (forgive me, Beatles!) as opposed to the orange one. The white set off that wonderful orange window light more starkly. Whoever came up with the orange border version should have been fired for artistic incompetence.  >:D

I agree. The white one is much cooler. I believe it was the first one.

I remember singing this one at our kindergarten Halloween party tho it was slower and a bit more evil sounding.
Woody Woodpecker - Spook-A-Nanny (1964)

I think the title should be spelled "Spookenanny" - a play on the word Hootenanny.
