At what point, exactly, does the Creature get any type of "Revenge"?

Creech is a "glass is half full" kinda guy.

According to my comic shop ---DST versions of Hyde and Hunchback will be in hand this Wednesday. Still no word from TRU about their allotment which includes Moleman and different bases for Jekyll and Quasi.

Retro Mutant and Phantom apparently not coming until the 2nd of October.

As these are the only monster items I buy that I know of being released this season---I am kind  of anxious for them.

That one may be the best Creech toy ever O0 Can't wait

I agree. It may even better than the Sideshow Creature?  Blasphemy. ::)

A tuff call. TOY is the key word here I think, not sure I'd pose the 12" sideshow much, lets call it a draw :)

Sorry, I wasn't specific. I meant compared to the 8" Sideshow Creature.

Not sure I'd call that a toy either...  It's nice, but playability is minimal.  This figure really looks like a toy -- and a far superior one to the Toy Island sculpt.  I'm really pumped about getting it.  Hope it looks this good when it hits shelves.

We might be shipping TRU's UM figures to them now, but I would give them a week or two to get to the individual stores.

But yes, Select Hunch and Hyde AND Munsters Series 3 wil be in comic shops and specialty stores this week.

After Retro 4, I believe the next item will be the Bride and Wolfman vinyl banks, which should hit in late October or early November.

He's in the same wave as "Son of Frankenstein" Karloff Monster and "Van Helsing." So, yeah, I guess next October.

We put our new UM and Munster figures out at the same time every year. So hopefully September of next year, but maybe October. Depends on how production goes.

The new Retros hit comic shops next week!

So, I had a strange experience today...

I went down to the local shop after work to pick up the new UM's, but after inspecting them for quite some tome, I wound up leaving them behind. To be fair, I'm not really a Quasi fan, so that release wasn't really a major want for me to begin with, but I was pretty excited for J/H. Anything related to Karloff is a must have for me, but for some reason, I just wasn't feeling it today.

To begin, the paint apps on the Jekyl head had virtually no grey wash, so it made him look younger than he was at the time. Also, there just wasn't enough "Karloff" in there, imo, and that was my main motivation for picking him up. Don't get me wrong, the sculpts on these are excellent, the paints, too, but in addition to the aforementioned issues, there's also a glossy shine to both of them that just throws the whole thing off. I dunno, I'm trying to explain it, but I can't really verbalize it.

Anyway, here's the strange part. While there, I also spotted Munsters Series 3. Now, I grew up watching the Munsters and always thought it was a great show, but I never prioritized it amongst my collecting habits. I have way too many things I'm into, and just wasn't as passionate about the Munsters as a lot of other things. I loved Scooby Doo back then, too, but I don't have any SD collectibles, either. I saw the first series in Stores a few years back and thought they were well done, but I never gave them a second thought when it came to buying any, until today.

I don't know if it was the inclusion of Spot as the BAF, Uncle Gillbert, or just the overall quality, but I bought the whole set. I can honestly say, these are some of the nicest production figures to come out in a long while! The sculpts are spot on, the paints are impeccable, and the staircase is just epic in every way. I had no idea it would be so huge! Most companies scale down stuff like this, but not here, this is just massive.

Anyway, amazing job all around to the team behind these. Not only are they great action figures, they're a lot of fun! That's a quality a lot of "toys" don't have these days.

Anybody get these today? I wont get mine until Saturday. Pics are welcomed.

KSG, that has been a problem with DST from the start. The proto-types look amazing, but the finished product misses the mark by a long shot. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case with Jekyll/Hyde, but I'll buy it anyway (like all the rest). No matter what some fickle ones may say, Sideshow remains the gold standard of Universal monster figures (their figures usually met or surpassed the proto-types).

That Munsters baf is outstanding, makes the set a no brainer!

Okay guys a question for you.

I went to my usual comic book store with the intent on pre-ordering the deluxe Jekyll - its a small shop and not prone to getting every toy under the sun. upon asking "Hey, can you get this for me?" the owner went to his usual distribution points and could only find the Rooftop Version listed. We searched for a little bit and all we could find is the basic version.

So, does someone have a SKU or a product number or UPC from the deluxe version, something he can take to his distributors and go "Here, get me one of these!"

(Also, my local Toys R Us should have their shipment on the truck this friday - so figure a day or so to unpack, their assortment should be on the shelves this weekend . . .well, at least around here. :) )
