They aren't edible ...  ;)

Can I eat GelGems®?

GelGems® are completely non-toxic, and they will not harm you if you eat them. But, we don't recommend eating GelGems® because they just don't taste good. And very small children, under 4 years of age, could choke on GelGems® if they tried to swallow them. So please, don't let anyone under age 4 decorate with GelGems®.

Okay .. the next time that I have unwanted house guests (the ones with two legs)  i'll serve Gel Gems. It won't kill them but I doubt if they'll return.  Thanks for the information.

I just recently discovered something else you can't do with gel clings....super glue them  :(  I bought some of the blood drip gel clings and tried to superglue them to wood on my new guillotine prop, and they would not stick. I'm no science expert or chemist, but I should have known they would not adhere- hahaha!

Don't give up. Other glues may work. Try Elmer's White Glue and old-fashioned mucilage. If those don't work, you might have to try epoxy glue.

:)
Collecting! It's what I do!

Maybe. I gave them a test wiggle, after 24 hours, and they pulled right off. So I figured they wouldn't hold up for 2 weeks outside in the rainy October weather. I saved them after I pulled them off, so I could try some Liquid Nails, or some creamier type glue.

Charpie.....try Gorilla Glue. That particular brand of glue may work?  ;D

Gel Gems and window clings in general .. are made to adhere to windows, glass, mirrors .. a bit of water helps.  I doubt if they'll 'glue' to wood.

Good luck.

Don't forget that you need a costume yourself  to scare the kids when they come.  It's the spirit that counts ..  ;)

Whatever they are, they must be really sour.  Just look at Frank's pucker!

OMG you HAVE to try the clear silicone sealant.
It's my favorite glue for lots of things lately, and I think I'm addicted to using it.  )~(
I'm sure you can find some at Home Base or any hardware dealer (even tho great for crafts).

It holds really well to hard surfaces like glass, and it's really great for pliable rubber or even cloth surfaces too, and it's clear (and waterproof)!  It pulls off nicely and cleanly when you're done and want things to come off too. It's not like permanent forever (if it gets knocked around), but it should hold to wet wood for two weeks....

I've actually glued glass beads to mirrors and used it on lots of cloths and things.
For your drips, I would wash them well with soapy water first, to get any oils off, so it can adhere.

I can't believe I'm rabidly excited about a glue, for cryin' out loud. That's weird.  I swear it's not the stinky fumey smell that's brainwashed me either.
