Such a great flick. ;D

First time I saw it (around 2000) my dad walked in during the scene where Pat gets "meat hooked!"  He just shook his head at me in disappointment!

Trick 'r Treat (2009)
A fantastic film that captures the essence and spirit of Halloween and all its trappings. TrT was actually made in 2007, by a helluva director who has been totally overlooked going forward. I was completely hooked by this movie the first time I saw it, and I've enjoyed it many times since...

"Do you know what I've got in those crates?"

Phantom Stranger

"The Haunting" (1963)
                -Julie Harris

Plot: IMDB
Dr. Markway, doing research to prove the existence of ghosts, investigates Hill House, a large, eerie mansion with a lurid history of violent death and insanity. With him are the skeptical young Luke, who stands to inherit the house, the mysterious and clairvoyant Theodora and the insecure Eleanor, whose psychic abilities make her feel somehow attuned to whatever spirits inhabit the old mansion. As time goes by it becomes obvious that they have gotten more than they bargained for as the ghostly presence in the house manifests itself in horrific and deadly ways.

Phantom's Review: in my opinion, this is the greatest ghost story ever filmed. Eerie, atmospheric, wonderfully acted and perfectly directed. Special FX fans probably won't like it due to the fact there is little to no FX in the film. The horrors remain unseen and plays heavier on the imagination. Forget the 1999 remake, and stick with the excellent original.

yes, I knew it was supposed to be released in 2007, but since it came out in '09 that's what i put. I agree, I fell in love with this movie the first time I saw it as well. I have tried to collect as much merch from the movie also. Still missing a few things, but that's what so great about hunting things down. I would love for them to re-release this movie around Halloween in theaters. it would be great to see it on the big screen!

Phantom Stranger

"Army Of Darkness" (1993)
                -Bruce Campbell

Plot: IMDB
A man is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., where he must battle an army of the dead and retrieve the Necronomicon

Phantom's Review:Third film in the "Evil Dead" franchise and Probably my favorite horror comedy(Along with "Ghostbusters and "Young Frankenstein"). Goofy as hell, but with a few good BOO! scenes. Bruce Campbell is perfect as the arrogant, but clues less Ash.Fun, cheesy special FX and a good story. This film is a blast if you can put your tongue firmly in cheek.

The only chance we might have is if they play it at a horror convention. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
