Here's a Buddy L crank activated squirt gun. Makes a nice popping noise even when not used with water.

Here's a cool Ideal Green Beret Rifle Set from 1966. Never seen another one of these. Has cap loading metal clip, pop-up sights and storage area in the magazine for an extra clip. also attached to the large card is a very cool cloth green beret. Description says "one size hat fits all".... I doubt is....Scatter and I are both fat-heads. Ha! Dig the cool illo of the soldier on the card!

Dr. Madd

cool, excapt the clip should be in the magazine, not the grip.

Here's my Mattel Fanner 50 Shootin' Shell Pistol. What a cool toy! This was back before every mommy and daddy sued the toy company when little Johnny shot his sister in the arm and she cried. Little draw-string pouch holds the two-part shells. This pistol dates from late 50's-early 60's. I've often heard sellers or owners of this gun point to the hole in the handle and remark that something is missing. Actually the hole is a bullet loader for assembling the two-part bullets......Buddy

The Idiots in the AtF would actually have this classified a firearm, because it fires using a cap.

No matter what classification, pointing one of these toy guns from the 50's or 60's at someone might be taken very serious. They look pretty lethal.

Sorry Terry....I'm alittle slow at times.....you mean you have the same suction cup "arrows" as I do except in a box? Does the box have cool Val graphics?

Yup -- same (or similar) "arrows" in an illustrated box.  Same image of Val as the crossbow box -- just a lot smaller!

That is something, Terry. I wonder if the box of arrows was once inside a set like mine or sold separately...........

That is gorgeous! I like anything Green Beret/M16 or that fires off caps and that gun is both! Ideal sure made great toys.

Hey Bud!  At long last -- here's a pic of my boxed Prince Valiant arrows.  From the 25 cent price, I guess they were for sale separately....

Here's a neat gun....the Star Trek Jet Disc Tracer Scope. Who doesn't love shooting those flat, round discs all over the place? The Tracer Scope is by Rayline Toys and is from 1968. I keep my eyes open for items that were produced during the years of the original show- '66-'69.....not really that much merchandise....lots of comics. In my opinion, the Tracer Scope is a Wow, but the graphics on the packaging get a super Wow.........

Man, LOVE that Trek gun Buddy!! I'm always amazed that you manage to find so many cool toys in their original packaging. Are the majority of these New old-stock warehouse finds from decades ago that were kept by collectors? Because I can't imagine there could be anything like this EVER popping up these days. Who's got a warehouse these days that hasn't been gone through since 1966?
We're all here because we're not all there.
