Well, I guess its time to close the books on this poll and "Them!" seems to be the clear winner. I'd have to agree. Sandy Descher, who plays the little girl who was found wandering in the desert early in the film, gives my all-time favorite performance by a child actor/actress in the horror genre. The IMDb doesn't list a date of death, so I assume that she's still around. Does she do conventions?

P.S. I almost forgot to give an honorable mention the the film "The Deadly Mantis" which garnered a respectable number of write-in votes.

Creature Features

Them. Saw it as a toddler and loved it.  To this day, every time i hear a car with squeaky brakes, i think of that movie, lol...

Honorable Mention: Tarantula. Mainly because Mara Corday is such a babe.     :-*

Have always loved Them! It would get my vote.

Years ago I was plaiyng trivial pursuit and i had the Science and Nature question, "What kind of livings creatures are found in formicaries?"  Because of the movie Them! and the educational scene about ants producing formic acid, I knew the answer.  That information stuck in my mind for over 30 years.  too bad it wasn't for a piece of the pie.

"Tarantula"  Loved it as a kid when I saw it on the local horror movie show, Horror Inc."  Although, "Them is pretty cool.
Bringing terror and death across 4,000 years!
