"Swamp Girl" - 1971 with Ferlin Husky. My new fav cult discovery. A bit like a cross between Charles B Pierce and Ed Wood films.

I believe i own this movie on a set of discs, but havent watched it yet..

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Wicked Lester

Category 7 - The End of the World. Cool made for TV movie with video game type CG effects and a back story. A bit convoluted and comic booky and LOOONG 3+ hours but still worth a view.
6.5 skulls.

I have several disaster films in my Blockbuster queue.

- Carlito's Way (Carlito Brigante, Benny Blanco from the Bronx and Kleinfeld make a great collection of characters. One of my favorites.)

- Pinero (life ended too soon, a common theme for some artists. One of the founders of The Nuyorican Poets Cafe)

- Coffy (Pam Grier=FINE)
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

general gruesome

Murder on Flight 502(TV 1975) Ralph Bellamy,Sonny Bono,Fernando Lamas,    George Maharis, Polly Bergen,Farrah Fawcet, Hugh O'Brian,Walter Pidgeon,Robert Stack,Brooke Adams, Danny Bonaduce        ...

"Left in the lounge for first-class passengers, a letter warns of murders on Flight 502 -- and the warning is received a day early."

A cast of "B" list stars led by airline pilot Robert Stack flies into danger, murder, bad acting, rampant racial stereotyping, and polyester galore!!

Seriously, this movie reeked. Robert Stack is as subtle as a chainsaw. Dude.............cannot...........act. When Carrot-top Bonaduce upstages you, it's time to give up acting and start hosting some cheezy TV crud like "Unsolved Mysteries" (the first episode of THAT show should have presented the unsolved mystery of how Robert Stack ever made it in Hollywood).

You've heard of triple threats?? Those talented few who can sing, dance AND act?? Well we have a reverse triple double in this movie.........TWO dudes who cannot sing, dance, OR act. Danny Bonaduce and Sonny Bono. The movie might have had some redeeming value had the flying killer targeted these two wooden indians. Alas, they survived the flight. Happily, their careers did not.

Farrah Fawcett's hair and teeth make a cameo appearance attached to a stewardess who is smuggling dirty money out of the country.

Fernando Lamas plays...........Fernando Lamas. As usual. His acting repertoire shows all the versatility of a toilet plunger. It does one job. It does it well. But you don't want to stir your soup or frost a cake with it. Likewise, you don't want Fernando Lamas playing anyone except Fernando Lamas. The results would be truly crappy (no pun intended).

Walter Pigeon looks like Kharis in this movie he's so old and slow. Except not as lifelike. I'm pretty sure he died about halfway through filming and still completed the movie without anyone the wiser.

A 3rd rate "Whodunnit" with all the cliche's and none of the style that make the genre interesting. Contrived, badly written, cheaply shot and agonizingly tedious. 0 bananas. Not even artificial banana flavoring. Do yourself a favor and miss this flying turkey.

We're all here because we're not all there.

- Nighthawks

Sly, Billy Dee and Rutger Hauer make a pretty good cast for this 1981 thriller.
