- Mean Streets (1973)

Scorcese's early street movie centered in NY's Little Italy. DeNiro, Keitel and others highlight some low level mob types running the streets. Recommended for fans of this genre.

Disclaimer: this movie is rough around the edges, meaning production wise. It's not the big budget Goodfellas/Casino feel, but that definitely adds the overall vibe of the movie.

Pesci wasn't in this one (to my knowledge), Keitel and DeNiro were the main ones.

I've never seen TWWB. That's the fantastic thing about being a horror movie buff. You never run out of cool flicks to discover.

"Splendor In The Grass" sounds so NOT my cup of grog. Don't know what it's about, but just the title.............blech. Unless it's the new Cheech and Chong movie of course.

"Swamp Girl" - 1971 with Ferlin Husky. My new fav cult discovery. A bit like a cross between Charles B Pierce and Ed Wood films.
