I'll have to post up some Joe stuff, Scatter.  I really like G I Joe although he has been really saturated with new and re-pop stuff for several years now........Bud

Nah, I don't go for any of the stuff from the 80s forward either. 60s and 70s Joes are the ONLY REAL Joes. I buy new outfits for my old Joe, but the Joe himself is vintage. I only have 1, but it's the one I always wanted to get back.

Haunted hearse

One of the things I did back in the 1970's was hanging a GI JOE from the rear view mirror of my hearse with a noose.  Of course, he was wearing a German uniform when I arrested him,  and he was given a fair trial first.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Well.....that goes without saying.

Haunted hearse, here in Kansas we had internment camps for captured German soldiers during WWII....................could you not have turned him over to proper authorities? Such vigilante justice!

I think those camps were closed by 1977.

That's true. I have it on good authority that they were closed in the mid-seventies.

Wow! Those boxes look as if they were never folded open! Is that the case?

???

Sorry I hadn't seen this question earlier. They are all empty boxes, I could never afford a full box of any of those!

Yes, that I understand. But display boxes for cards were meant to be folded along certain lines so that the top  of the box would become a vertical display to catch the eye of kids that were potential buyers. Were your boxes ever folded open and out in this way?

ok, gotcha. The Shock theatre is still partially connected at the perfs, the dinosaur was undisplayed, but the other has been opened.

Are those 2 boxes yours?!?!? Nice stuff!

No, those are not my boxes. The only box I have is the one for the 1958 CFL set. That one has never been burst open.

I do have both a NM Civil War News set and both a five cent wrapper and a one cent wrapper for these cards. I'll post pictures of these for you within a couple of weeks.

Just picked up this vintage framed Munsters Go home original movie poster. I had to rearrange the rest of goodies to make it fit but I love it!
