Char & Gary - Thanks for the compliments, but believe me - I'm no saint!  Sometimes, I'm a grumpy ol' pessimist, who communicates in growls ;).  It takes my family & friends to bring the best out in me, and I thank God for that, :)!

That's the way it is for all of us testosterone-charged man-apes. It takes the charm of the right woman to soothe the savage beast.

Thursday, we drove 90 or so miles for Thanksgiving at my sister's home.  Had a great time seeing my sisters, brother, mom, nieces (and great-nieces), nephews (and great-nephews), and of course, my son, daughter, granddaughter & wife.  37 in all!  Spent the night at my in-laws, where my lower back & hip started cramping & throbbing like all get-out!  Finally passed out from sheer exhaustion - didn't sleep a wink Wednesday night!  Today (Friday), we drove from Muncie to Ft. Wayne (70 miles) to have dinner at my wife's sister's (and her husband).  After dinner, drinks & entertaining the gang with monster drawings & caricatures, we played some cards until - yep, you guessed it - my back spasmed out!  I guess the traveling & sitting on hard chairs caught up with me.  So, after laying down on their bed for an hour, I got up and my gracious sister-in-law, Corina, offered for me to use her computer - so here I am!  I did get a nice voice-mail from my favorite Cyber-Space Simian Sibling, Scatter, except I didn't notice till this evening!  It's 11:06 pm and my wife is still unsure if we're spending the night here or hitting the road!

UP- We have very similar lives!  We  drove 7 hours on Wed.  met my long lost cousin that I haven't seen since I was 13, on the Adventureland bridge at the Magic Kingdom. Hugged and giggled like we were young again and realized that we only live 8 hours apart and she works at the Magic Kingdom- which we go to a couple times a year! So we are both giddy!! We stayed at Disney for 13 hours and slept on an uncomfortable hotel bed (I brought my own pillow, thankfully). Drove another hour on Fri. to my sister's house where I once again acted like I was 12, and swam in her pool for 3 hours. Danced around like an idiot and tried to ride a pool noodle until I almost drowned while swimming another couple hours. And finally, ate too much pie and tried to sleep in another uncomfortable bed with a sore neck. I did not have any type of spasms, but I could not sleep and got 9 hours of it in 3 days. It took us 9 hours to drive back home yesterday ( Fla. & Fla. state game traffic) and now I am HOME!!    :)

You mean 'watching Stealer game'....... what is going to happen NEXT week-----the other team is going to insert NY Giant legend Joe Pisarchik (sp?) to take the final kneel down?   :o :D :D

Normal day at school, but I taught kindergarteners how to fold paper and make snowflakes.  The thought it was magic!  That was fun.

Saw Ozzy live in Baltimore, MD last night. Hearing him kill old Sabbath songs was worth the ticket price alone.

It was my first time seeing him and he put on a great show. I had floor seats about 20 rows back...\m/
