Last week I popped in my old VHS of Legend for me and the kids.  Great flick, I really should look into upgrading to a widescreen dvd of it.

I don't think I had ever seen The Ghost Breakers but if I had I had forgotten the viewing. But I had always heard that Scared Stiff was a remake of The Ghost Breakers. I did have a issue with The Ghost Breakers and I'm sure some will not agree. But I had a issue with Willie Best as Alex. I think his character came across as a slave or slavish. With so many stereo types I will not bother listing them. This I know they say it was part of there times. But in 2010 this was a big enough negative for me that I favor Scared Stiff over The Ghost Breakers. Liking The Ghost Breakers doesn't make anyone a bad person. I just didn't care for the portrayal of Alex. So if you have time and if you haven't see nether film. Check them out. Both films are fine films I just prefer Scared Stiff
