I'm a bit of an Arch Hall Jr Fan. Yea I know he only made 6 movies but they are all memorable to various extent. My 2 faves being The Choppers and 1963's The Sadist.

"God's Little Acre" on TCM yesterday. Awesome cast, with Robert Ryan as the lead, Aldo Ray, Buddy Hackett, Jack Lord (and his hair), Vic Morrow, Fay Spain, Lance Fuller, introducing Tina Louise and Michael Landon as an albino. (I didn't make any of this up). Nice little southern melodrama, even without any real southerners as far as I could tell.

I never heard of it.  Did Tina Louise look like Ginger?  How did they makeup Michael Landon to be an albino?  Did you he look good as an albino?

CABIN IN  THE SKY, with the scrumptious Lena Horne.  Also in the picture was Rex Ingram...who played "Da Lawd" in GREEN PASTURES, and the Genie in THIEF OF BAGHDAD.  he played Lucifer, Jr. in "CABIN"

 The disaster movie 2012, it was decent enough though not overly impressive.

I never heard of it.  Did Tina Louise look like Ginger?  How did they makeup Michael Landon to be an albino?  Did you he look good as an albino?

Hey. The film was in glorious black and white. Tina Louise did not look like Ginger Grant, but you can tell its her. She has a very sexy skin tight white dress in some scenes.
     For Michael Landon, they made his hair and eyebrows star white, made up his skin as well. As it was b&w, I could not say about contact lenses, except perhaps. His body language was very good, and he held himself like "an outsider." It was the era when every 20 something was the next James Dean.
