Wicked Lester

The Rough Riders. 1997 TNT TV blockbuster. You want a high action epic war movie that will have you pumpin your fist and yellin at the TV this is it. Highly recommended. I got this in the Sam Elliott triple movie box set for $13. Well worth it.
On the down side,Brian Keith who had a small part as president Wm. Mc Kinley commited suicide shortly after this due to terminal lung cancer and grieving over the recent suicide of his daughter.

"The Scarlet Empress" on TCM.  I love this channel as it brings on stuff I've never seen before. This movie had extraordinary sets, it at times is like a Tim Burton movie from the pre code thirties. The demon, ogre and dark angel thrones and other chairs are amazing. Highly recommended. John Lodge who is killed off early in "Murders in the Zoo" is a great lead opposite Marlene Dietrich, and Edward Van Sloan has a nice bit in the first scenes. Just a beautiful and perhaps Gothic film.

My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

I LOVE the SCARLET EMPRESS...a truly gorgeous film.  I watched that one along with RASPUTIN AND THE EMPRESS...worthy of historical note because it is the only film appearance of all three Barrymores together.  ABFAB!

Ratatouille is a movie that I'll watch no matter what part I happen to walk in on. It's the best!  I not only watched it last night, I watched it again this afternoon.

Hi, Charp.  I went with the family to Disney World in October and we dined at the France pavillion in EPCOT.  They had Remy under a serving dome on a cart and he would be pushed around from table to table to talk with the customers.  Very cute.  My 5 year old thought it was neat and my 15 month old looked concerned ;D

Rambo.....

Stallone is like 60 years old running around in the jungle fighting a hundred Burmese soldiers with a compound bow.  Unbelievably bad.  I have to punch my buddy for even telling me about it.

Oh man, this is slowly evolving into a Ratatouille thread, Sean. I was not aware of the French pavillion having a Remy on site!  I simply must force my family to eat there in May. We all go to Star Wars weekend every year, and when we end up in Epcot, everyone votes to eat in Japan. I usually go along with the decision, but this year I'm insisting on eating in France! Thanks for the info. The only thing I love more than monsters is Ratatouille, it's just a fantastic movie.

- Training Day (again)

Always thought this movie was like The Shield on the big screen. Vic Mackey and his crew went hard like Alonzo and his crew. Man, I miss that show along with The Wire.
