GAKENSTEIN

Packy, you lucky!  All we have here are Goodwills and they rarely have anything monster-related.  Never seen any of that terrible trio before.  That marbley one is particularly odd.  Is it heavy?  Could ya kill someone with it? (the true test of good quality)
"Supernatural perhaps, baloney perhaps not!"

As I have mentioned, things have been tight at the Ole Cave lately. I am just enjoying what I have and been buying and burning and Collecting DVD's as of late. At the shop buying for resell has been great. Also I get a few Monster mags here in there.  For the first time, in a Long time,  some items Came in the shop, for my Collection.  It is ironic That this came in the day before Halloween. It's the 1975 Ben Cooper "Land of the Lost" Sleestak costume! It's not mint, but is complete with the original jumpsuit.
George

Great score George! That's one of my favorite non-Universal costumes (the Kraken from Clash of the Titans being the other). You don't happen to have the Ben Cooper Sleestak jiggler do ya?

Sadly, no. I've never understood why there's such a dearth of vintage Sleestak merchandise. I woulda killed for Sleestak toys when I was a kid.

You and me both. I never saw the costume or jiggler when I was a kid (I was a little young to have taken notice anyway), but it wasn't until the late '80s and Toy Shop magazine that I even knew the costume existed.

OK here are a few interesting finds I got in the past week that I thought might be worthy...first is a collection of 22" tall rubber monster figures I got on Ebay for $5, they look cool hanging around for Halloween.  Really big and weird looking.  The tags say Halloween Creepy Monster 2002, by a company called MSI in Tx.

Next is a really cool group of 4 rubber stretchy figures, got these off Ebay also, not really jigglers they are full of beads, like beanbags with stretchy skin.  They are abt 5 inches tall and the tags say stretchable Horror Monster, and on the figure it says 2004 Toy Major  also it says filling: eps beads.

Finally here is a cool Frankie head that I wore around yesterday his eyes flash red and a spooky sound comes out of a speaker in the back, I got it at a seasonal Halloween store that only had this one hanging from the register and they sold him to me for $3.99

So those are my weekly finds, how did I do?  Was this stuff too new, or should I keep finding and posting more?

poseablemonster

Cool stuff, AHI.  Old, new; it's all good.  Keep 'em comin'!

Bogey

Yesterday I made my annual shopping trip to pick up Halloween decorations on clearance. I picked up some cool stuff at 50-75% off:

I hit the Walgreens in Bowling Green again and grabbed up all their remaining Universal Monsters candles. I got fifty of them for .19 each! The mix includes thirty Wolf Man candles:

One Bride of Frankenstein, nine Frankensteins, four Mummys, and six Creatures:

I didn't desperately need them, but for .19 each I couldn't leave them behind. Any one need some candles? ;)

The Creeper

Those candles are awesome!  Wish they had them here in my town, I would have bought them too.
Long live the UMA!
