Howdy Monster fans! Once again I have a question for the Monster Experts here at the awesome UMA!

I was curious if anyone happens to know apx how many of these "Zoo Piks, I Scream Spoon" cases might be out there? I like the nice simple Monster graphics on the box. I think I have seen one or maybe two others and the one box was in much worse shape than this one. Thanks!

I like those graphics too. And what a great box. They always say buying things buy the case is cheaper, but with this case I'm not so sure. ;D

I doubt there are more than a handful of these left in the world.

They held bulk spoons for commercial trade, like Carvel's Ice Cream Stores.  Fast food restaurants would have tossed them out.

Thanks for the info. That is pretty much what I thought. I knew this box was for bulk items for restaurants and such so I assumed most were probably thrown away. I am glad to have it.

I seem to remember seeing the shipping carton for the Anchor Hocking monster glasses. That would also be cool to have full of glasses. I suppose you could just buy a bunch of the glasses and fill it yourself. As well as the spoons. Although the spoons were probably shipped in the hundreds as opposed to a couple dozen glasses?

You'd be even glader (not a real word) if it was full!  ;D

Very true!  But who is to say that the box is not nearly full?   :)  Kidding.... I do have full sets in Blood Red and Graveyard Grey though already.... I was toying with an idea to maybe make a false elevated bottom for the interior of the box. kind of like a platform on stilts... then I would buy a few more sets and scatter them about inside to give the illusion that the case is full for display purposes. Might be cool.

I too recall that Anchor Hocking monster glasses shipping case as well. I would love to have one and I would definitely buy enough glasses to fill it. That would be a sweet display. I seem to remember that box having cool graphics as well. Does anyone have a picture of it?

Dude...you must have some deep pockets. It took me a long time to save up for one set of the Anchor Hocking glasses. They seem to go for around 80 bucks a pop with Creech fetching around $100. I guess if I ever found the original box I would also be compelled to fill it. Us monster collectors an obsessed bunch. No wonder the rest of humanity think us weird.

My pockets aint that deep.... but how could you resist the urge to fill the case with all that monster goodness!! Would look sweet. I wonder how big the case was and how many glasses came in it? I am thinking 2 dozen sounds like a good number.
