My 1st martial arts cinema experience was 30+ years ago-------and it was a double feature; Fists of Fury and The Chinese Connection.

Fists of Fury will always hold a special place in my heart. ;)

A tough one for me as I love Fist Of Fury but had to vote for Enter The Dragon as it was the first Bruce Lee movie I saw, has a great cast and characters and endless quotable lines. And what a soundtrack!
Monster lovers never grow old....

Has to be Enter the Dragon. "I call it the art of fighting without fighting". Classic.

BlackLagoon

Enter The Dragon without a doubt.

Modernized and changed the entire action cinema as we know it.

Also when I hear the theme music I immediately feel like kicking ass  :D
"I send my murdergram to all the monster kids, it comes right back to me, signed in their parents blood"

Definitely Enter the Dragon. Great memories watching this.

I also like Game of Death.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

slayergriffith

I got to say Game of Death and Enter the Dragon. I like game of death better, but enter the dragon is cool also.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

I concur....but love the scene with the Student contemplating "The moon and all of it's Glory..."
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

My fave line from Enter the Dragon- "That's very impressive, but board dont hit back." (not sure if the first part is dead on)

That line reminds me of the movie Karate Kid II, where Daniel and Miyagi are looking at the poster of Saito breaking a tree in half.
Daniel:" Wow...can you do that?"
Mr.Miyagi: "Dont know...never been attacked by tree."

Is anyone else as fond of Circle of Iron (aka The Silent Flute) as I am? This was to be Bruce Lee's last project as he co-wrote the screenplay. He died before production, & like the Kung Fu series, David Carradine played the intended Bruce Lee role. The story reflects Lee's Zen philosophy, check it out if you've never seen this.

Thanks for the heads up on this Lundy. I've known about the Silent Flute, but did not know it was ever made

It's on the Blue Underground label. This is my favorite martial arts movie, & I can only imagine how better it wd be if Bruce Lee was in it.
