Hello all! My name is Aeris Carter, and my username is AerisAntiques. I go by bonnyaeris on Instagram. I am a 22-year-old historian (I just finished my MA: my PhD is pending, hopefully!) and vintage horror enthusiast who loves the original Dark Shadows soap opera and the movies featuring that original cast. I'm a major Bela Lugosi and Conrad Veidt fan like most people here. I especially love early 20th century German expressionist horror.

I decided to join the Universal Monster Army because I enjoy collecting, trading, and selling monster merch and have recently gotten into more vintage pieces, such as those from the 1976 "Monster Squad" show. I've enjoyed reading posts here for awhile and decided to bite the silver bullet and sign up! Happy to be here!

(BTW, my profile pic is me cosplaying Lara Parker as Angelique in the original Dark Shadows.  I am hoping to sew more costumes from the original series in the future. )
