Greetings William Patrick Maynard...and welcome to the coolest Monster Site ever...  >:D

Jethro

I have overlooked this Guestbook section and  found it is nice to know a little about the people on here you communicate with.  First of all, I am one of the fortunate to have grown up in 60's as a kid into Famous Monsters, Aurora kits, and Creature Features on T.V.  As an adult I can now afford to some degree surround my self with the monster room I have always wanted.  I am a Detective Sgt. for a police department that has a high crime rate and my monster room is a great place to escape to as a stress relief.  I am very glad to have come across the UMA, everyone here is great and are fortunate to have a place to go to share things they have in common.  I like the experiences people share here in regards to their growing up on monsters the most, and also their sense of humor.  I am glad to be part of it, thank you.  -Jeff

Thanks for the welcome, Dr. Geist.

Jethro's post made me go back and see that most people introduce themselves a bit better than I did.

So...I'm Bill Maynard (I write under my full name also my user name). I'm a husband and father and live in Ohio, but work in Washington DC most of the time. I write as a hobby. My greatest accomplishment as a writer has been continuing the Fu Manchu thrillers for the Sax Rohmer Literary Estate. My first Fu Manchu book was published last year. The next one should be out in 2012. I'm a weekly columnist for The Black Gate where I write about horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery. I'm a fan of German expressionist horror, Universal Horrors, and Hammer Horrors. I'm also partial to the Dr. Mabuse films and Vincent Price's two Dr. Phibes pictures for AIP in the early seventies. I'm 39 years old and also post on Scarlet Street, Latarnia, CHFB, and Mondo Cult. I have the most affection for Universal Horrors and that is what has drawn me to the site.

Love to see the many walks of life of those who started early or were eventually touched by Monster Universe. Welcome Jethro, and you're probably gonna need to be on duty round here, as there is always a mystery needing to be solved

Welcome Baron Morgan....were you promoted From Captain? Everything here is aged to perfection so you are in good company. Dive in and take a look about, and always feel free to share.

Allhallowsday

I'm John, born November 1, hence "allhallowsday".  I'm Allhallowsday at other sites too.   I collect vintage monster toys, Halloween, TV, and enjoy old movies, particularly Horror films like CARNIVAL OF SOULS or BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN or CASTLE OF BLOOD (aka DANZA MACABRA) or THE OLD DARK HOUSE or CAT PEOPLE or PSYCHO or THE NIGHT STALKER...  :-*
If you want to view Paradise, simply look around and view it.

CreepysFan

A big welcome to the Crypt for William, Jethro, and John.  Always nice to have new blood flowing.
