The Maggie Gyllenhaal thing vexes my wife and I.  She's a major Butter Face.  We were watching the Batman flic where she's everybody's love interest---------and it's like.... REALLY?!??  Batman and Harvey Whatshisface both drop anchor when they see her and forsake all others?  She's HARD on the eyes, face-wise.  1/2 the time I see her--------PEANUT has the better hair.  She keeps getting roles where she's the babe.  WTF?

I would have flown sideways and dumped Lois when she started singing that 'Can you read my mind' song to herself in Shatner-esque verse.  THAT, plus the face would have snapped me out of it.

Margot Kidder ruined the entire illusion for me. Sure, I could suspend disbelief enough to believe that a baby from an alien world that was exploding could travel across the far reaches of the universe in an oversized walnut shell, that going from a red star to a yellow star gave him superpowers, that his disguise consisting of eyeglasses and a spitcurl seems foolproof, and that a leotard with the BVDs on the outside seemed a rational fashion statement for a dude facing the dregs of society...........but having the hots for MARGOT KIDDER?!?! Even MY credulity can only be stretched just so far.
