Yesterday evening, my wife picked me up from my work (quite unannounced, just had a text on my phone saying 'front door pickup') and said "Let's go have dinner up in Springfield." (That's about 30 minutes north of here).

So we get there, and she drives straight to the Shrine Mosque where all these tour buses and trucks and crazy gothy metally looking people are milling about and suddenly I realize 'we're going to a show!'...

I had NO IDEA that ALICE COOPER AND ROB ZOMBIE were doing their Gruesome Twosome Tour, let alone that they were doing it anywhere near us.

For the next three + hours, things were rocking. I mean, insane rocking.

She's a good, good surpriser.

Just had to tell my UMA friends about it.

So cool. My ears are still ringing.

My wife and I were at the same show last night. Never saw Alice live in concert before but it was my second time seeing Zombie. The place was packed!!!!!!!! Our ears are still ringing too!!!!!!!
Sounds like you've got a good wife there my friend!!!!!!!!!! Are you down by Branson Mike?

Well..... nice to meet you neighbor!!!! 8)

I'm here in Republic Mo. just a few miles west of Springfield. We're normally down your way a few times a year. Silver Dollar City season passes ( the wife's idea ::) :D).
I see you're into making halloween items. My brother and I just got out of the industry but we were in it for a long time!!!!!!!
Nice to know there is a fellow UMA member just right down the road!!!!!

You lucky bastards!!!  I was going to take my niece to that show but she would have had to miss school (she lives 4 hrs north from us) and she already missed a day last week so the sister-in-law said she couldn't go!  It's a three hour drive for me so I just couldn't justify it for myself but would have made a hell of a first concert for her...interestingly enough she's 13 and actually would have wanted to see Alice over Rob!
