Mr Bean

Benny Hill

Totally forgot Benny Hill, I grew up watching him on a local channel in the early 80's.  And Mr. Bean is a great one too.

Black Books is indeed the book store series with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey. Hilarious.
And I believe the fella you're referring to in Fawlty Towers was Manuel. He was 'from Barcelona', they were always careful to mention apologetically.

Yep, love British comedy series. Black Books, Mr. Bean, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, The Good Life (Good Neighbors in the U.S.), Hey Prime Minister, To The Manor Born, Are You Being Served?, Black Adder, man I could keep going... Vicar of Dibley, Absolutely Fabulous, Little Britain, Spaced, Keeping Up Appearances -- well yes, I could go on.
