5.the book store one...still cant remember the name of the show...I wanna say"black books",but I'm not sure....

And I believe the fella you're referring to in Fawlty Towers was Manuel. He was 'from Barcelona', they were always careful to mention apologetically.

Black Books, Mr. Bean, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, The Good Life (Good Neighbors in the U.S.), Hey Prime Minister, To The Manor Born, Are You Being Served?, Black Adder, man I could keep going... Vicar of Dibley, Absolutely Fabulous, Little Britain, Spaced, Keeping Up Appearances -- well yes, I could go on.

Hands down, Fawlty Towers, and you're thinking of Manuel!!! What a great show. Monty Python was hit or miss. FT was always great!!
