Yay!!  The software update didn't take me out!    I usually am the last to know what the deal is for Thanksgiving, even though I'm the one that ends up doing all the work. In the 30 years that I've been married, I have prepared 29 Thanksgiving meals. One year we went to Ohio to visit relatives. I am tired of cooking, and I'm not even a good cook! Ugggggh!   Anyway, it would be nice to know in a timely manner.                           TPBM- Watched The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror tonight

Unknown Primate

Are you sure?  You better go look in a mirror to make sure you're still there!  Cooking for Thanksgiving has got to be quite a chore!

No, I didn't watch TREEHOUSE, but did watch THE WALKING DEAD.

tpbm likes raiding the fridge around midnight on Thanksgiving night...

I'm dwelling on Thanksgiving, aren't I?
" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

charp13

Yummmmm- I like to smear cold cranberry sauce ( I actually make mine from scratch out of cranberries) on top of a piece of cold turkey and enjoy it for a midnight snack!             TPBM- Would never use that creepy plastic bag of entrails found inside a frozen turkey-for anything!!!!

Grossssss, nooooooooooo!
Tpbm wears sandals.........alot.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

charp13

Yep- Croc sandals and flip flops (shoes are prisons for your feet!)                    TPBM- Thinks the UMA site looks pretty fancy!

Opera Ghost

I do, BUT, the lesser contrast and smaller font slows down my reading!

and TPBM is exhausted from the weekend
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

charp13

No, but I will be this time next week!   TPBM- Really enjoyed the Halloween shows on Fox last night even though they were a week past Halloween!

Me too OG............I can't function with the new look unfortunately.Though I agree it LOOKS cool, my eyes just can't adjust to it. Go into your "Profile" tab below your avatar. You'll see an option for a forum with a white background. Click on that as your display option, then scroll down and confirm the change. You'll be back in the swing in no time, though the look is pretty bare-bones compared to the old options.

TPBM makes Dagwood  sandwiches from Thanksgiving leftovers with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cheese and mayo mashed between a hard roll. (MMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm).

Nah- I like to pick at the leftovers- Vulture Style! Sandwiches are too civilized!          TPBM- Likes to take off their "load bearing clothes" as soon as they walk in the door and replace them with stretchy shorts and tank tops!
