 On this day in Feb 1959, Una O'Conner passed away. She is best remembered in" Bride"as the scared woman who helps the monster out of the burn re-mains of the Windmill, she thinks she is helping her husband out. But then she runs off screaming when she see's who it is.

Hello Greg, The woman who helped the monster out of the pit was Mary  Gordon she was well known for playing Mrs Hudson in the Rathbone Holmes series. Una as Minnie went back to see what was keeping her friend and thats when she bumps into the monster. I live about a mile from where she was born here in Belfast and wrote about her in issue 212 of Famous monsters if you want to know more. Another fact is I was born seven days after her death in 1959, fate or what.
