Tribute to Lon Chaney in St. Paul

Minnesota Public Radio presents Tortured Cinema: The Great Works of Lon Chaney at the Fitzgerald Theater on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 p.m.

Tortured Cinema will feature excerpts of the silent films The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Phantom of the Opera, accompanied by Michael Grandchamp on the Fitzgerald Theater's Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ.

Also, original Indie organ music by deVon Gray and Alicia Wiley, a radio story about the legacy of the Universal Monsters and a high flying trapeze tribute to the works of Lon Chaney.

Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for MPR members, and $6.00 for family members under the age of 16.

Yes, this will be where I'll be presenting my story about the Universal Monster's legacy. There should be some quotes from our conversation in there, but I haven't figured out which parts to focus on yet. But I'll post links when the web version is ready.
