Late Nite with Coffin Joe

Spank, Nicole and other CJ disciples, have you heard about Mojica's new talk show?  It is premiering in April.  (In Brazil, not here.)  It's a sit-down studio interview program with remote segments.  If I read correctly, he has a one-year contract and has already taped several shows.  Yes, he wears his costume during the show.  At the end of each program, he puts a curse on an individual or institution.  Maybe it will turn up on You Tube so we can watch it.

Oh snap, a Ze Do Caixao talk show! If it does appear on YT, I hope it has subtitles with it.  I wish DirecTV had a way for me to get foreign channels. I'd choose the network that airs the Coffin Joe show (and I'd get MTV Japan, but that's off topic).

At first glance, I thought this thread was a joke. This news is more surreal than Coffin Joe's films. Coffin Joe as a talk show host? He's such a people person.

Is there any way in hell that some of Joe's disciples could lead the man to this forum? I would love to schedule a special live UMA chat with Coffin Joe! Now that would be something! I would imagine we would need some sort of translator tool for such a thing to work?

BTW, there are such translation plug-ins for this forum software. I could look into it.

Terry, that's a neat idea! Having the man himself here for a chat would be so exciting! However, Spank and I are only fans, and I don't know how close Ray is with Mr. Mojica and his people. So, I think it might be quite difficult to make something like this happen. But that certainly would be cool...

Okay, I might be dreaming & completely out of my head as I write this, but here goes:

Could Ray get in contact with the same people who contacted him for the movie? Cause it's my (out of this world) idea that whoever it was that got in touch Ray could be the very person who MIGHT get Mojica here.

I have Mojica's phone number, so I could just call him right now and ask him...but I won't. 

The reason I have his contact information is because he and his people know I'm responsible enough to never use it unless it was a serious, business-related matter.

Mojica's a nice guy, but he's not the type to post on message boards.

He HAS done online chat sessions.  He did one just a couple months ago, but it was professionally organized, not a fan-based thing.  If we could organize a chat with a couple hundred Coffin Joe fans, and do it in a professional manner, he would probably be up for that.  At least I would be willing to head that up and take that proposal to him.

Jose Mojica Marins is my "movie boss."

In all three cases, I do not want to make the boss angry!

I wish I could take that as a sign that we'll be seeing more in the future, however, it may just be the artist promoting their work and nothing more.

It looks like the artist showing off his work.  It's nice to see these intros, since they give us an idea of the show's style.

I wonder who his first guest will be. I wonder if he'll have Bruno or those female assistants with him during the part where he puts a curse on people.
