Now , I can say that because I get to brag about someone who is so taleneted on so many leveles, but beyond that he is my very own brother in law!

His name is Cory Geryak, he is my sister's husband. In his real life he does this.

But in his spare time he does this kind of thing.

This Lou Costello was completed many years ago. It was intended to be part of the Henry Alvarez Bronze series.

Although Henry, ultimatley, had to forgo the Bronze line to concentrate on other business, Cory had begun another sculpture to compliment his first one.

Here now, almost nine years after he began the project is the second bronze piece.

Holy Macaroni!

Beautiful Dan.  All that talent in the same family (by marriage of course!)
So is this for personal display?  How many of these beautiful things is he making?

Are these Dr. Shocker Exclusives?

Rest in Peace,

Wow, that is a really fine piece.  Thanks for sharing!

The Drunken Severed Head

Very impressive!

Without the Lou Costello bust in front of it, Frankenstein looks like he's imitating Lugosi's Dracula- you know, the "tarantula fingers" hand and arm gesture!

Wow! That is the coolest thing I'll see today without even looking in the mirror! Dan, will this incredible sculpture be made available for sale? Stunning, simply stunning. More details please.
The Famous Monster of Mpls.  Sayer of the law.

The Phantom Creep

Today? Hell try all year (HA, even though it's only been a couple weeks  ;) )

Those are simply amazing.

How big are they?

No way I could pass up an intro like that! I'm not even going to ask the talent it takes to create something like that. Just simply beautiful.

OK...Glenn Strange Frankenstein Bronze Statue or house payment?  Can I have some time to think?  Please, tell me this will be available, Dan!  It's really incredible.

As the pictures were loading, for a moment, it looked like the figures were made to depict Costello being punched in the head (as in the famous "door scene")!
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

Thanks, Dan.

And please pass on our kudos to Cory? He truly has a Gift.

These pieces remind me of the quite wonderful, life-size, bronze of Jackie Gleason that stands nobly in front of the Port Authority Bus Terminal here. Did either he or Henry have a hand in that one?

(Have to be honest though: for me personally, it ties for today's coolest; a friend just showed in passing that he owns one of the real Grail toys of my childhood...)

Thanks again.
