I found this site while searching things on Vincent Price. I thought you all would enjoy this.... Neat pictures of Vincent, Peter Lorre and black cats. http://tinatarnoff.typepad.com/thought_patterns/2009/06/audition-for-a-black-cat.html

I really dig those Life photos from the Black Cat audition. Those cats are so cute!

My mom's fiancé has a black cat named Bear. Every time I see Bear, I want to pick him up and take him home with me. Here's a photo of him:

He's a beauty Nicole!! I used to HATE cats when I was a kid (likely because my dad hated them). But now I just love 'em.

Oh Scatter!  Will you join us for that?  We'll be setting our hair, polishing our nails, talking about guys, trying different makeup on, etc.  It'll be really fun.

My mom is a cat person, so I guess I take after her. Dogs, on the other hand, I don't like. Our neighbor has three of them and sometimes they keep me awake at night with their barking. >:(

Oh, can I paint Scatter's nails? Should we go with a bold red color or perhaps something more manly, like silver? Or maybe just a simple clear coat to give them some shine? ;D

I have the Booney Bunch Coffin tea light holder ...
Miss Drac, you've convinced me (the mention of coffins PLUS tea lights did it!) and I am going to peek in that Yankee Candle this week!  I will let you know what I see.

Cousin Sara, I can't thank you enough-- what a fun link! Those are MARVELOUS pictures of the cats! WOW-- I'd never seen those and that is really great-- not only to see behind the scenes like that but to see all those beautiful cats!

Nicole, Bear is a beautiful cat! Looks like he will be a wonderful addition to the family. :)

I'm a cat person too.  Well, a critter person, but right now it's cats here.

Scatter, WHEN we have a slumber party... and that is a WHEN... all will be invited to join in.

And I think Scatter's colorful and sparkly personality calls for polish with glitter in it.

I'll be there for the same reason I took Home Economics instead of Woodshop.

Then we can be sure of copious amounts of hand-holding?? Count me in.  ;D

Dr.Teufel Geist

yeah, I used to hate cats when I was a kid too,....................no wait, I still hate them, unless they are Lions,Tigers, and Panthers.
Yeah, I took Home-Ec in school too, and so did most of the guys, I think there was like maybe 3 girls and 10 guys, so I removed myself
and went to Photography class.

I can just imagine how that must have went for you.

Scatter (approaching a group of women): "Hey ladies, what say we get together later tonight, strip off all our clothes and dance together in a circle under the pale moonlight?"

...followed by awkward silence and the women backing away in terror.

Kicking off a new week here at WAMAC...

Here is a link for folks to check out; it's a blog entry from Chicago horror host Svengoolie, about a recent Entertainment Weekly article he read.  The blog is entitled, Chicks Dig Horror? Of Course!

(Svengoolie is my regular Saturday night date here in my house. ;))

And here is a link to the original Entertainment Weekly story he references in his blog: Horror Films...And the Women Who Love Them!

I took drafting in Jr High.  It was just me, one other girl, and about 20 guys.  I seriously wanted to learn drafting.  The other girl took it for the boys and made sure her skirts revealed her butt.  The guys called me "Joe Draftsman".  I thought it was cute.   ::)  I figured out years later that they were making fun of me.  >:(
