Creature Features

Dark Ride...from the "8 Films To Die for" 2006 collection.

Not bad. Decent acting and direction saved an otherwise cliche-ridden storyline...

Glad I'm not the only one bothered by the brain worms, it's always the brain worms making people screw up.  This morning  I watched ' Kung-Fu Panda ', didn't want to but the head wormies told me to.  ;D

- Heat

One of my all time favorites.  A great character study involving criminals and cops.

Broadway To Cheyenne (1932): Another public domain western, where a cowboy detective goes up against big city thugs.

This movie also starred Marceline Day, who played "Lucille Balfour" in London After Midnight.

It's The Kirkwood Channel, from Kirkwood Community College here in Cedar Rapids, IA. They show lots of public domain movies, TV shows & cartoons. More than a few are horror/sci-fi. Cry of the Banshee should be on later tonight, & everyone's favorite, The Giant Claw will be on tomorrow evening.

This channel is one of the few reasons I still have cable, seriously.

- Pinero

One of my favorites. The life story of Miguel Pinero, poet, playwright of the award winning "Short Eyes" (a brutal prison play/film) and one of the founders of The Nuyorican Poets Cafe.

A highly recommended movie.
