The Sandlot is one of the best films ever. It genuinely captured the youthful zeal, naivete and enthusiasm of any American kid in love with baseball as well as the "boys being boys" scenario that all pubescent lads played a part in.
The scenes where they experiment with chewing tobacco makes me roll with laughter to this day.
It's become a cult favorite-- but I understand that a remake is in the works, and I can't for the life of me understand why.
I honestly don't know what Hollywood is thinking with some of these remakes...
