The Wolf Man was the only classic Universal monster that appeared several times, but only solo in his initial outing..as such he was relagated to the monster rallies afterwards. However, he had some wonderful appearances. What film do you favor for giving him his due?

Gotta vote for Frankie vs. Wolfy on this one . . . the early scene where his crypt gets (almost) robbed and the battle at the finale made a HUGE impression on me as a youngster.

BTW, how many people actually played the Frank Monster in that one flick?

Went with the original, as the Wolfman appears through out this movie, and only briefly in the others.

A&C meet Frankenstein would be a close 3rd, if we were rating Wolf Man appearences, but I had to go with Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man based on how faithfully it continued the original AND began a new tradition of linking the Universal monsters into a shared reality.

Boy, this is a hard one!  I guess I will have to go with The Wolfman.  Because it's about his origin.

I'm a broken record: A&C Meet Frankenstein. I love all the Universal classics, from the beginning thru the 1950's, but this is my all-time favorite. Bud & Lou are great & (w/respect to Jack Pearce), the monsters never looked better.

A&C aside, The Werewolf of London is my favorite lycanthrope movie.

For me, FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN has the best Wolf Man scenes out of all of them, the Wolf Man actually has more screen time here than he does in his debut, and certainly in the monster mashes to come.

I actually like the "look" of the Wolfman makeup best in FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLFMAN.

The crypt scene in 'Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman' is near the top of my list as well.

I liked his looks the best in house of frankenstein (1944)
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman is my favorite. I do like the makeup in House of Frankenstein.

A lot of good points here, as usual from the pack.

Altho the crypt scene is very cool from FMW, love the original Wolfman
