DC Superhero bread stickers were issued in 1978 by several bakeries including Sunbeam, Taystee and Langendorf. I have complete thirty sticker sets of the Sunbeam, Taystee and unbranded variants but I don't at this time have any Langendorf stickers.

Jack Kirby's NEW GODS, with Orion as the very strange hero.  Scott Free is part of that mystery, too.  I just wish Kirby had a coherent end-tale and had been given the time to deliver it in the original time-frame.  I always had the feeling that War Dogs was a cobbled-together shrug-of-his-shoulders attempt to placate Fourth World fans instead of resembling his original vision.  If he had one.  That's perhaps the bigger IF...

I'd also look at his Jason Blood THE DEMON as another interesting character, and another tale that seemed to go... well... nowhere.  Starts good, sputters, fizzles and get left by the wayside, with a seemingly all-to0-familiar excuse of "lack of sales prevents continuation of the promised story..."

Then, uh, why was DC saying, "Oh well, just because the others collapsed 'due to sales', let's have OMAC and all the others..."

Kirby's early 1970s work always gets my highest attention - and the subsequent scrutiny.
