Maybe this thread is why the alst batch of glasses on Ebay went astronomically high.  They are awesome glasses and Richard's placemats just make them all the more desireable.

Here are the glasses I had as a kid from Spencers that I wish I still had.

I don't have a picture of the Mummy Glass but right now the Frankenstein glass is on Ebay for 165 dollars!  I probably will never get them again at those prices.
Long live the UMA!

Don't know what happened with the Dracula one the first time?  Hopefully it will work this time.

Those Spencers glasses are really cool.  I have to get a set of those.  I especially like that weird Wolf Man for some reason.  They almost remind me of Tomland package artwork.

About the AH glasses that just ended on ebay, it doesn't seem like they went astronomically high.  The Mummy ended at $18.50 with reserve not met.  Frank and Creature hit $50 each, which is not cheap, but not astronomical, especially for Creature.  The Wolf Man finished at $41, reserve not met.  It seems like the seller set a reserve of $50 each.

The art on the Spencers glasses aren't the greatest but I likes them.  My favorite on was the Wolfman, I liked him running through the graveyard.  I can't believe the Frankenstein is going for 165 dollars!  I don't think anyone has bid on it though.
Long live the UMA!

Wow............those are cool. As an incurable dreamer, every once ion a while I stop by the local GoodWill Store just HOPING somebody tossed some stuff like that among the glassware. Naturally, I needn't  tell you how I've made out thusfar.
We're all here because we're not all there.

A set of AH glasses just finished tonight on ebay.  Anybody here win one?  The Mummy ended with reserve not met.  Creature ended at $50.  I didn't see what happened to Frank and WM, but all four were listed.
That was me, i wanted a second set. The Creature and Wolfman are in my person. I thought the Mummy was picked up(won)?

I won the WOLFMAN, kinda high reserve. But, worth it. Completes my second set.

Any chance of our General coming up with a Dracula one to complete the set? ;D

How much were they in 1980? For some reason, the Dracula glass seems to be harder to find than the rest, but in the last ten years, I've seen each of the others, clearly labeled, close on ebay for as low as $30 each (that's what I paid for my Creature). Of course, I've also seen each sell at close to $200, so there's quite a spread.

If you do ever find a photo of the Mummy glass, please do post it. As I wrote earlier, it's been nearly thirty years since these glasses were released, and I know of no one who's ever seen one. Any recollections of what the image looks like; full bodied like the Gill, Mutant and Wolf Man, or oddly foreshortened like the Drac and Frankie?

Really? I've always found the Metluna Mutant to be the scarce one. That and the Creech (demand). I guess mileage will vary.

If I find a picture of the Mummy I will post it.  From what I remember it is a full body picture of him standing in fog.  If anyone ever gets a extra one of any of these glasses I would be interested in buying them if they aren't to much.
