First, let me tell you what an amaizng surprise it was to see Forry there.

I mean, considering that he passed away in December.

Okay, no it wasn't him, but I tought it would be nice to see Casey Wong's fabulously real sculpture closer.

Now, we've been blessed with many different pics of the POOLOZA by many of our friends who were there. I'll post here some unique shots that I was lucky to get form my own POV of the weekend.

I posed this one. I was talking to Bela for some time and noticed this sculpture on Ron's table. I waited patiently for Ron to have a free moment - then I STRUCK like a cobra!!!!

BAM!

MONSTER HISTORY

Now speaking of Monster History, I was fortunate to have had the honor of walking Sara into the museum so that she could see Mike Hill's masterpiece for the first time. OF course, I had my camera ready.

BTW, I'd like to say something about these guys; Bela jr, Ron and Sara.

I love them.

Honestly, as I have gotten to know them all so much better through out the last 15 years, I have realized the unique situation that they were born into and applaud them for there consistant graciousness.

What else was interesting?  How bout this?

APES FAN-atic, Brian Peck meets up with a fellow who has memorialized Brian on his arm!

Our own Neal Kenemore's BREATH TAKING Morlock and Cousin Eerie! This kid is a real talent!

Our lovely Friend , Kitsie.

The Talented Perry Shields becomes Jack Pierce!

At our party, Perry's daughter, Kimmy becomes THE PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE!

Also at the party, the beautiful (and she's one of two- okay 3 counting her mom) Chaney girls poses with her great great grandfather!

Here I reunite with HEADHUNTER QUARTERLY'S Publishers Grimm Jim and jeff Wehenkle. It was real treat getting these guys into the museum.

The Arizona Gillman and Howard Harris (hhwolfman) and Summer and Jonelle.

Michelle and Neal Kenemore and Dino (akrut) and Caleb (Klung1)

The king of all Monster collectors (richard) ( of course he's now just known as Angie's Dad) meets the Gillman!

Back at the convention, Evil Wilhelm offers pulls form PAT NEWMAN'S molds used for the Niagara Falls Movieland wax museum!

Dante Renta's Display is ALWAYS  MIND BOGGLING!

In the some room was  Rhonda Underwood's amazing mask collection.

What a treat that they both  thought to share there masks.

Dino shows off Rich (dahone's) fantastic Mr. Hyde!

John Goodwin's booth

Where's VERN-DO?

Kelly Mann and Joe Dolenich's booth.

Mike asked that his Karloff be moved into different light. Wow!

On the way home the last day we had too many people in the car!

Adam (the Kreature Kid) was stuck in the way back and he kept asking how to spell the town we were in and the make of the car.

We were sure he was texting in his own AMBER ALERT!

At least THE KREATURE KID was insured good scary dreams!

SO my last houghts on this amazing weekend are these.

Thank God for the likes of Eliot Brodsky and Eric Austin (maskfest) and Kevin CLement (Chiller) and Ron Adams (monsterbash) and the list goes on and on.

These visionaries and the cadre of volunteers who help them make these events an amazing gathering place for the rest of us. What a blessing to have such a wonderful backdrop as this to have met many of you for the first time!

Thank you, Eliot, for an amazing weekend!

Dan thanks for the photos, it looks like an incredible event!

Does anyone know how to get in contact with Evil Wilhelm? I'd love to add several of the Pat Newman pulls to my collection. PM me if you can help. Thanks.

Wonderful, wonderful, Dan!  From all I'd heard--and now from all I've seen--the museum was mindbogglingly great.  Those shots of Ron Chaney and Bela G. are a TREMENDOUS coup, and as you well know, I always love seeing my pal Sara K.!  Can't thank you enough for this museum tour.

It was a wonderful show.  I walked around Friday 4 times until I saw everything.  So many cool things to see and wonderful people to talk to.  It was as good as the 1993 Famous Mosnters Convention!!!

Wow great post. Now we know how you spent your day. Good of you to take the time to do that. What a great time. Great to see everyone again. It had been a while. Eliot, if your out there....great f'n job! You knocked this one out of the park. I did my best to support the vendors and spread my money out as much as I could in hopes that we can do this again next year.

I had a really great time. Thanks Danny for , Your kindness,  Hospitality and Your Museum is one of my favorite places in the world (Even if you can't get my Wife and Daughters name right  after all these years.  ;D ) I would also like to thank  Eliot for a great show. I am going to post a longer post with pictures in the up coming days. It was great Meeting everyone, It seemed,   I spent The most  time at the Convention Talking to Mike C It was like were were old long lost  brothers. . It was Our first meet and loved talking about the old days and monster collecting. . I met Richard Olsen for the first time also, and  he was just what I expected. The Gentle Giant. I don't think  I saw anyone smiling more than he, all weekend.  Talked with my old Buddy AZ GIllman Which is one of my Favorite people, for quite a while. The one Person that amazed me the most on our first meet  was some 19 year old Punk kid.  ;D Actually He is the kreatureKid, from the Picture above. Really nice guy and is really only 19 years old. He is by far the youngest serious collector I have ever met. Nice guy and Love Monsters as much as any of old farts. He is an amazing sculptor to. Here is his Pictures of His monster room, from a previous post.

OMG, Howard,  Ron Chaney was over for dinner and we were talking about the weekend and he mentioned the B-ball game with Buster and  Willow and I turned white!

I immediatley said, "Ah crap, I KNOW her name is Willow and I wrote it wrong on the POST!"

Got the great wife's name wrong, too? How can that be?????

So sorry, please tell me you didn't SHOW THEM!!!!!

That you can even say things like "Ron Chaney was over for dinner," has got to be one of the coolest things, period.  Thanks for the photo spread, hopefully I'll make it to the show one of these years.
